This gonna be a quick tutorial on Stardew Valley how to use bait. Please keep in mind that bait cannot be attached to the bamboo pole or the training rod. Bait is only allowed to be used on the fiberglass rod, the iridium rod, and in crab pots.

Stardew Valley How to Use Bait?
To place the bait on your fishing rod, and then open the inventory menu to choose the bait. Left-click to add the bait, you can add more than one bait, and right-click to decrease it. After you’re done, right-click on the fishing rod, and you’re ready to go.
Stardew Valley How to Use Bait in Xbox ?
To place the bait on Xbox press A button on the bait to select the whole stack. If you want to pick a single bait press A. Once you get the amount you want press X to the fishing rod.
Stardew Valley How to Use Bait – PlayStation
To select the whole stack on PlayStation press X and ‘Square’ to select single bait. Then, once the bait is selected, press ‘Square’ on the fishing rod to attach the bait.
Stardew Valley How to Use Bait – Nintendo Switch
To select the whole stack on Nintendo Switch press A and Y to select single bait. Then, once the bait is selected, press Y on the fishing rod to attach the bait.
Stardew Valley How to Use Bait iOS and Android
For the mobile version, bait can be added to the fishing rod by opening the inventory, then dragging the bait and dropping it on top of the rod.
